This mobile app, the fourth installment of FloraQuest apps from our Southeastern Flora Team, covers more than 5,500 native and non-native plants that occur in Tennessee, Mississippi and Alabama.
It includes illustrated dichotomous keys, helpful ID notes, a graphic (multi-access) key, tens of thousands of diagnostic plant photographs, an extensive botanical glossary, and additional features like a “Great Places to Botanize” guide for each state.
All of our FloraQuest apps – Northern Tier, Carolinas & Georgia, Florida, and now South-Central – give you access to scientific flora information so you can can identify species in remote field settings without internet access.
Each app is available for a one-time fee of $20, which includes free annual updates to flora data and photos. Purchasing an app supports our team’s ongoing work to deepen and clarify plant identification across the Southeast!"
